{Process Show Time} Hand-made Chiffon Bridal Dress

Well it’s show time again and I must admit that I really love to shoot the dress making process! So we’ve recently put more time into prom dresses but it’s time to switch back to wedding dresses. So if you are planning to purchase a simple style wedding dress for that important day, then I think this chiffon number may just be the one, with it’s elegant ruffled skirt and beautifully pleated bodice.

So let’s start with the bodice, these pleats are handmade and take a lot of time and effort, first achieving the perfect pleat, then pinning it in place and finally sewing it down. It took our designer Gloria 2 days to finish the look.

The handmade flowers and beaded embellishment on the waist make it so pretty and elegant.

  1. I love this dress without the flowers and beading, I am curious is there any support in the bodice? I am a 40 D and I am afraid I will fall out of it.

    1. Hi Stacy,
Glad to hear from you. The dress can be made without flowers and beading. And yes, there is boning in the bodice. Maybe we can add straps for you if you need.

  2. Hi, the dress is gorgeous and the skirt caught my attention. I am a student looking to create a shorter skirt with the same sort of conical ruffled design, I was just wondering is there any easy way to make it or is it too complicated? Once again though, amazing dress!
