Browsing on Pinterest under the section ‘Weddings’ really blows my mind, there are just so many great ideas out there these days and it’s often difficult to pin down one style and colour that you really want for your big day. So after a little research we have come up with the summer’s top five trends and how to pin down the best and most stylish ideas not to mention how to get the most from the look and how to wear it! Enjoy!
Trend 1: Blush Pink
A truly beautiful colour for bridesmaids, but one, which may not suit everyone! Whilst it’s a great colour for a wedding it may not suit nor make your ladies happy. Blush pink happens to suit certain skin and hair colours more than others so if you want to make all your maids happy make sure they are content with this shade of pink.
How to wear: Rose gold is very hot this year so add a little glitz, with a selection of sequin embellishments and satin fabrics.

Trend 2: Patterns Galore
Yes we saw it on the runway first via Oscar de la Renta and it certainly turned our heads. Patterned bridesmaid dresses are the perfect style for any spring and summer wedding; the patterns and colours are both very relaxed, which makes it easy for brides to choose a style to suit her theme.
How to wear: Because the patterning and bright colours do all the work it means that accessories can be kept to a minimum and floral bouquets will look best in one colour, helping to keep your flower costs down.

Trend 3: Vintage Lace
Still a hot contender this year lace is still set to lead the way, only this year designers have upped the look with pretty scalloped hem and necklines fused with gorgeous vintage floral patterns making lace irresistible once again.
How to wear: Lace will wow all on it’s own so again keep accessories to a minimum and make sure heels are matching the colour of the dress. Short style will look better for the season ahead and work it with some elegant headbands to match.

Trend 4: Stylish Necklines
This season designers are focusing all their attention onto the neckline with some imaginative and stunning details that range from deep plunging V-necks to scalloped pretty lace necklines and once again we see illusion necklines making another appearance.
How to wear: Keeping hair pinned up will really enhance the look by helping to show off all that gorgeous detailing.

Trend 5: A Little Sparkle
One of our favourite trends this season has to be the glitz and glam of some sparkly sequins, beads and diamantes that adorn dresses in full or with a small touch added to shoulders, bodices and necklines.
How to wear: Another trend that stands out from the crowd meaning accessories should be kept to a minimum, try wearing some small jeweled or studded earring depending on your hairstyle and dress neckline. Make sure heels don’t let the look down and ensure they too follow with a little sparkle.
