One of my favourite parts to dressmaking is choosing the fabrics and trims; there’s nothing better than seeing your bare ingredients laid before you, especially when they consist of pretty 1920’s floral patterned lace.
Like all our lace gowns we begin by cutting out the lace patterns and hand-sew the individual sequins and beads to further enhance the look of the lace and give it more of a three-dimensional look (one which will really make it stand out and sparkle).
We felt we had to share this style, simply because of it’s unique and slightly saucy low sweetheart shaped neckline and gorgeous pretty capped sleeves. We love that this bride has broke away from the ever increasingly popular strapless dress and gone for something that will really suit her body shape rather than choosing something on trend.
