That’s right one of the biggest and hottest times in bridal wear and a time for all brides to be to get a tad excited about their upcoming wedding. As always our design team are following the latest trends and are also excited making preparations to begin new designs. This year Monique Lhuillier, Jenny Packham and of course Reem Acra made their legendary statement on the runway, with details oozing in lace tulle and vintage glam. It’s time to put your feet up and enjoy these new and very fabulous trends.
Lace Sleeves
Not just lace sleeves but ever so elegant lace sleeves, the lace seen on the runway is barely there, but looking mega gorgeous in full length to capped. Just make sure you choose a pretty floral choice with pretty delicate edging.
Sparkling Applique
We’ve always loved a wee bit of appliqué but this year it gets even better as it simply sparkles. Designers have polished off their stunning gowns by using shimmery bits and bobs and we think it looks absolutely amazing.
Vintage Glam
This year brides need to be looking for vintage silhouettes, so that’s basically any statement shape from the 20’s up to the 50’s. Sleek long gowns will always prove a winner in our eyes. And why not dabble in some elegant satin to finish the look.
Pretty Pastels
They have been the hot topic of conversation for a while in the world of weddings, but bridal gowns are set to continue this trend with soft touches of pink, greys and mint to name a few.
Shrugs and Caplets
Don’t forget to accessorize that gown; this year pretty tulle caplets and adorable lace shrugs are definitely stealing the limelight. Not only do they look great, but they just so happen to be quite practical too! Definitely a must!
